Application Programming Interface. Interfaces issued by a bank to allow third parties access to their clients' accounts. Using the API, third parties will register with the bank, access accounts, and execute payment operations

International Bank Account Number
PISP
Payment Initiation Service Providers. Possibility to initiate a payment order from a client's bank account using third party’s application
PIISP (cPIISP)
Card-based payment Instrument Issuer Service Providers. A service that allows third party to query whether the status of the funds on the client's account is enough to make certain payments. YES / NO is sent as a response to the question
PSD2
Payment Service Directive. The European Payment Service Directive defining third party access rules for bank clients' accounts

SCOPE

Third Party Provider. Third party service provider in the PSD2 context. This is a specific merchant who provides one of the defined services
TPP ID / CLIENT ID
Unique identifier assigned to the TPP by the bank.
